Back in the summer of 2013, Chichester Camera Club members Cathy Hughes, Joy Whiting, Sheila Tester and Anna Walls got together and decided to form a sub-group within the club, with one of their main aims being to show their work in their own exhibition. They decided to call their group the "Out Of Focus" group (there already being a well established sub-group within the club called the "Focus" group).

As ideas progressed and developed they collectively came up with the idea of holding a photographic exhibition in aid of Chichester's St. Wilfrid's Hospice, with the idea that each photograper would then invite one other club member to take part in the exhibition. As a result, club members Nina Borowsky, Peter King, Stephen Marsh and Peter Rocchiccioli were invited on board.

The exhibition will be open to the general public in the main room of the Oxmarket Gallery off East Street in Chichester, from 7th - 12th October 2014, 10:00am - 4:30pm each day. On the evening of Monday 6th October there will be a private viewing for invited guests when the exhibition will be officially opened.

As well as the exhibition of a wide range of photographic subject matter by the exhibitors, all of which will be for sale, there will also be gift cards for sale and fellow club member Lizzie Reynolds will have a stall selling her own hand crafted bead jewellery. A proportion of all profits will go into the Hospice fund.
